Tom Hauschild and Dick Strassburg founded TEGRA Group in 1996 for a simple reason: to serve the interests of commercial real estate end users.
In their countless interactions with landlords, developers, architects and contractors, Dick and Tom observed that businesses and not-for-profits needing to acquire, improve or build a facility rarely had proper representation in their corner. Though experts in their own businesses, executives often didn’t know the questions to ask or the points to challenge when it came to commercial real estate. They weren’t equipped with the background necessary to negotiate long-term leases or competitive purchases, compare real estate financing sources, engage qualified design assistance, scrutinize a construction bid, analyze a proposal, negotiate a fair contract or manage a construction draw process.
Dick and Tom realized that end users needed a champion.
Two decades later, The TEGRA Group has helped private and public organizations of all sizes navigate every facet of the real estate process.
